Phenomenological Implications of the Topflavour Model

چکیده
We explore phenomenologies of the topflavour model for the LEP experiment at m Z scale and the atomic parity violation (APV) experiment in the Cs atoms at low energies. Implications of the model on the Z peak data are studied in terms of the precision variables ǫ i 's. We find that the LEP data give more stringent constraints on the model parameters than the APV data.

متن کاملB − B̄ Mixings and Rare B Decays in the Topflavour Model
We explore the impact of topflavour model to B − B̄ mixings and rare decays of B mesons. By the flavour–changing neutral current interactions of this model, the B − B̄ mixing amplitudes are substantially affected while it is hard to investigate the effects on rare decays. Violation of the unitarity of the CKM matrix is also discussed. We find that the bound on |Vtd| can be stronger in this model ...

In this work we consider the model with additional SU(2) acting only on the third generation, which has been suggested by several authors 1,2 as a possible solution of the Rb problem. The third generation undergoes different flavour dynamics from the first and second generations and we expect that this type of model would help us to explain the discrepancy of Rb of which measurement is about 1....
متن کاملApplication of the Phenomenological Model to Electrophoretic Mobility in Mixed Solvent Electrolyte Systems in Capillary Zone Electrophoresis
The phenomenological model of Khossravi and Connors (1992) has been adopted to calculate the electrophoretic mobility of drugs at different concentrations of solvents in a binary mixture. The accuracy and predictability of the model have been evaluated employing 14 experimental data sets by using average percentage mean deviation (APMD). The obtained APMD for correlative and predictive studies ...
